Check out the letters on wikipedia's umlaut page - I think my favourite is the angry U. Ǚ

Edit: I can't make my U angry :(

Vaguely connected....

Can't do it justice on here due to not having a euro symbol so on a phone try euro, colon, open curly bracket, close square bracket and say who you see.

With curly bracket do you mean ( or { ?

Anyway my phone automatically changes : ( into a sad face so I had to separate them and it looked like a mess. Is it supposed to be you?

It looks like the professor character on my kiddie calculator from many years ago.

EDIT: Now it looks like Mr Creosote.

Good one, Ian. On my phone it's a bit more thin faced so looks like Basil Fawlty...so from the same stable as Mr Creosote.
