Spoilers for Wednesday September 2nd, 2009

I started this early just to piss James Robinson off.
If I suddenly have a squirming baby on my lap it probably means that I should start paying it some attention and stop wasting my time messing around on a Countdown forum

I don't give a toss quite frankly, but still it's nice for someone else to have a go.

It wasn't going to last much longer. I'm busy quite a bit next week, so I wasn't going to be able to start many of them anyway.

That sounded about as genuine as **** saying she wasn't bothered about leaving the house last night.

You only let her leave because you realised she was Lisa Riley, and not Rachel Riley.

Im going to try and predict the score, in the style of a child who gets asked to predict the score outside the ground before the game on match of the day.

2-1 to Chris Davies.

Good lord, you lot must have sad lives if you watch Big Brother. :?

Still, in more important matters, I hope Chris becomes a half-octochamp today, or I suppose a quadchamp.

Suggestions welcome.

What a lame trick, I'd love to see him do it with the boxing gloved on display throughout.

You could see Chris's excitement when he spotted SEPTUPLE. Well played again, it's getting better and better each day.

Surprised he missed EARHOLE but then again, maybe, like The Queen he doesn't have an earhole!

Yep good going. Gonna be some epic quarters if Chris becomes an Octochamp (hopefully!).

For the record, the boxing glove could have been on display throughout.

Good performance again, Chris. I was mightily impressed with SEPTUPLE and I was also annoyed to miss EARHOLE. Good to see Damo throwing a hard conundrum in.

2 alternatives for the 2nd numbers game:

Alternative 1:

9 + 5 + 5 = 19

19 x 25 = 475

475 - 50 - 1 = 424

Alternative 2:

9 - 1 = 8

8 x 50 = 400

5 / 5 = 1

400 + 25 - 1 = 424

If I knew what chris offered I'd remember.

There was "lettice" and "inport" around then.

Surprised DC didn't note that INPORT is invalid.

There was a round when Chris got AVOIDS and Michael said, I think ANOIDS. Don't quote me on that though.

I thought he'd said IMPORT, for which the M was not in the selection. So invalid, whether he said IMPORT or INPORT.

I noticed this, but then again, he was 28-0 down either way, so Susie probably couldn't bring herself to do it.
