On Apterous, when Charlie wrote about the site's state while he is gone, he said, "So long, Britain!"

Why in the name of God is that?

Now, Jason, what are you thinking? Here, I'll tell you. I want to add a new character to Dictionary Corner (Hint: She starred in a very popular '80s American sitcom and is a devout Christian,) but I don't know how to type in that one symbol that is an s with a line through it that is used as as variable.

Why would Charlie say, "So long, Britain" when we know so well that he will be back in September. Is he trying to play all of us for fools? Here's hoping he's not.
