Re: Imminent thing of amazingness!
Someone on IRC (in a chat room) mentioned this when it 'happened' last month. I pointed out to them that it was a British room and he claimed that 'most' of the world uses mm/dd/yy format. This obviously isn't interesting in itself, but it did cause me to find this rather interesting image.Peter Mabey wrote:That happened in the US last month

That's probably the strongest argument against living in Canada I've ever seen.Michael Wallace wrote:this rather interesting image.

Surely this is counter-balanced by the increased Larsen-proximity?Charlie Reams wrote:That's probably the strongest argument against living in Canada I've ever seen.Michael Wallace wrote:this rather interesting image.

It was much more fun on 12:34:56, 7/8/90. I'm assuming anyway...I'll maybe report back later and confirm this.
Actually, it was yesterday wasn't it? Yes, it was much more fun. I was probably in a German lesson in 1990, yesterday I was somewhere in Ayrshire.

Ah yes, 1990. I was merely 18 months old and Emma would have been on this Earth for just 3 weeks. Hence we probably weren't in a German lesson but you never know...Ian Volante wrote:It was much more fun on 12:34:56, 7/8/90. I'm assuming anyway...I'll maybe report back later and confirm this.

Just noticed I probably should've put this thread in Off-Topic.
