What is your average?

Score in normal 15 rounders.

Mine is 62.

They say a truly great Countdowner will average above 85.

From watching the TV show and scoring against all contestants between August 2008 and the end of Series 60 I averaged just over 113.

73.45 < μ < 81.23 with 95% confidence, on the assumption that the cluster sample "every (15-rounder) game I played in July" is a reasonable random sample of all the (15-rounder) games that I could/would play.

(Why yes, I am teaching two sections of statistics this term, how did you know?)

I'm averaging 81.1 over the last month, with an average of 6.1 maxes.

This has been the easiest way to see my progression actually - for the first month or so I only averaged 73 and 4.5 maxes, so it's satisfying that I have made some progress since then.
