I'm definitely thinking Tim Roth more than Mark Watson now.

MADRILENE in the third half (when the challenger got REMAINED).
EDIT: ENFORCES in Round 1 too, I'm surprised DC didn't find it. I'm watching this on 4+1

Seen the recap - is this the Tony Robinson off of Time Team?

Re: Spoilers, Friday 20/03/2009
Damn you Chris - I was gonna post MADRILENE. I had ELUSIONS as an equaller in the round after and lots of other nice equallers which I won't bore you with. One question: Do these ten points for the extra conundrum count towards Stephen's points total? Extra conundrums don't usually count but I thought that's when you were like 10 behind then won by 10 (so you scored 20 points and 10 of those didn't count).

I addressed my opinion on this in the recaps section, but I agree, it shouldn't be counted.Kirk Bevins wrote:One question: Do these ten points for the extra conundrum count towards Stephen's points total? Why did you say "I agree" - I didn't state my preference.Kai Laddiman wrote:I addressed my opinion on this in the recaps section, but I agree, it shouldn't be counted.Kirk Bevins wrote:One question: Do these ten points for the extra conundrum count towards Stephen's points total? Re: Spoilers, Friday 20/03/2009
Interesting game, even if DC did have a fairly easy ride. But was also surprised about the DC miss of ENFORCES. Thought I must have made a mistake, as usual.
Stephen has spoilt the master criminal look though with the amazingly quick beard growth (wow, not even a weekend for it ... he must get through some razor blades when he does shave) and smiling. It looks like he's still really nervous though.

Not so amazingly quick; there was a gap of nearly a month between the recording of Thursday's show and this one. It might account for the nerves too I suppose.Brian Moore wrote:Stephen has spoilt the master criminal look though with the amazingly quick beard growth (wow, not even a weekend for it ... he must get through some razor blades when he does shave) and smiling. I should have given a wink ... I had actually guessed that it was week's gap, though I haven't studied beard growth rates.Simon Myers wrote:Not so amazingly quick; there was a gap of nearly a month between the recording of Thursday's show and this one.
Interesting to see Tim Roth's biography - he seems to specialise in master criminals. Probably cold-hearted ones.

I'm almost certain that only your score after 15 rounds counts towards your overall total. I wouldn't worry as he's not going to beat your total either way.Kirk Bevins wrote:One question: Do these ten points for the extra conundrum count towards Stephen's points total? If you cut a gandiseeg in half, do you get two gandiseegs or two halves of a gandiseeg?
