A good 7 from our Champion Toby and our Challenger Sonia with Goalies..........here are some of my personal favourite shot stoppers !

Former Dutch international Goalkeeper Edwin Van Der Sar who started his career at Ajax from 1990-1999 and winning 3 Eredivisie titles and making 266 appearances for the club before moving to Juventus for 2 seasons finishing as runner up before losing his place to Gianluigi Buffon he made 66 appearnces for the club, he then moved to Fulham and made 125 appearances for the London club. Last but not least is the great Dane Peter Schmeichel who was one of the best goalkeepers in the world, he was signed from Brondby where he made 119 for his club before moving to Manchester United in 1991 for a fee of £500,000 a price that was described by Alex Ferguson as bargain of the century, he spent eight years with the club making 292 appearances for Manchester United, he helped them win 5 Premier League titles 3 FA Cups and a Champions League title in 1999 where was part of the treble winning side in the same year, after leaving Manchester United in 1999 he went on to play for Sporting Lisbon, Aston Villa and Manchester City before retiring in 2003, he now works as a soccer pundit for the BBC.
