I always think it's a bit strange when both contestants get the same x away from the target with different methods when spot on is quite doable. One for the coincidences thread.

Methodical thinking is a lot harder in a studio environment compared to anagrams. I also think the former requires more training to master as anagramming is one step compared to numbers which are often multiple steps. They’re not even the same skills. Some former contestants have admitted the numbers are more stressful. They really are a game within a game.Gavin Chipper wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 2:58 pm I always think it's a bit strange when both contestants get the same x away from the target with different methods when spot on is quite doable. I know all this, but it's when they both get exactly the same number it's a bit of a coincidence.Philip A wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 3:04 pmMethodical thinking is a lot harder in a studio environment compared to anagrams. The episode where both contestants used different methods to miss the the target by 100 will live long in the memoryGavin Chipper wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 3:44 pmI know all this, but it's when they both get exactly the same number it's a bit of a coincidence.Philip A wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 3:04 pmMethodical thinking is a lot harder in a studio environment compared to anagrams.
