Enjoyed this episode very much. Natalie played a good game, her ability to play blind Countdown is amazing.

MIJITAS in R2 - but it says US, so might be a dictionary error on Apto?

Probably wouldn’t be allowed, though I notice in the dictionary the US label is underneath the brackets instead of inside. The entry without its apostrophe is from American Spanish, while mi’jita is Caribbean. Going by the origins, I’d say that’s invalid.Toby McDonald wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 10:02 pm MIJITAS in R2 - but it says US, so might be a dictionary error on Apto?

According to Alan on Facebook, DC spotted CONNOTES but it was edited out? I thought it was a bit of an obvious one to missToby McDonald wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 10:02 pm MIJITAS in R2 - but it says US, so might be a dictionary error on Apto?

MIJITA is a US word (cf. ZUCCHINI, ARUGULA), not a US spelling (cf. COLOR, SULFUR) so should be fine
Re: Spoilers for Friday 23 September 2022 (Series 86, Heat 69)
Thanks. BTW, you are actually allowed SULFUR, despite it being a US spelling originally, as the -f- spelling is used widely enough in the UK (and globally) in chemistry and other technical uses and is even considered the standard spelling.Steve Hyde wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 12:31 am MIJITA is a US word (cf.
