One the scone thing, Susie talked about a map. Well here we go:
I didn't like Rachel linking her saying "scoan" with being an Essex girl. I'm from Essex and I would never use that pronunciation!
Edit - But yeah, looking at the map, it does seem that in the south east of England there is a "scoan" concentration around east London and into the more Londony parts of Essex. So the chavs basically!

Was originally supposed to appear today, but a couple of players (including myself) were sent home because of Colin catching Covid. Would have been very tough playing against Quinn had I ended up recording.
Very good game, though. Marina was unlucky to not win a teapot going by her 9-max performance. High standard stuff!

Quinn went for the fictional MURIATED and missed MUDIRATE. Strange because it came up a few games ago. Was it Quinn who got it last time or DC???

Alright, I might as well make another one of these.
Quinn's won six games with a total of 656 points, averaging about 109 points per game. At this rate, he'll definitely reach the #2 seed unless we somehow get a game where he wins by 31 which is HIGHLY unlikely. I think he will be well sat in the 800 club if he completes his run.
His average in terms of points over max rounds out to 76.73% - a few ways away from the #1 seed, Ed Byrne. Here's a log on his games and maxes thus far:
There's also been some talk about Quinn's nine-spotting and math skills, and it's safe to say that he's spotted 7 out of 11 nines and has a math accuracy rate of 76.79%, involving the ones that he didn't score on also. Sounds alright with numbers but may need a little bit more work on them.
Conundrum-wise, he's doing fine as he ripped through all but one:
1.5 - MEZZANINE (Game #3)
1.5 - PROMOTION (Game #6)
2.25 - UNBRANDED (Game #1)
2.25 - CONFUSING (Game #2)
6.25 - CERTAINTY (Game #4)
and N/A - MISGIVING (Game #5)
An average of 2.75 for each conundrum that he's solved though, which ain't too bad honestly.
I'll be doing a full recap on this man once he comes to a full stop, hope to see you then.

POUFIEST in R4
R6 TAFP: (8*6+4+1)*7 = 371
Great game, Marina was very unlucky there.
