Hello and welcome to another recap, we are now in our 86th series of Countdown and fast approaching the 40th anniversary of the show that was was aired on 2nd November 1982. After watching a nail biting grand final from Series 85 where Dan Byrom emerged as it's 85th champion and Matt O'Connor emerged as it's 85th runner up ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Steve is a warehouse operative from Skelmersdale but originally from Liverpool, some of you may remember Steven's father Peter who was a previous contestant from series 24 where he was a 2 time winner, and series 69 where he was a 1 time winner before losing to series 69 quarter finalist Jen Steadman who is a Countdown legend in her own right.

Plenty of 6s in that selection with DC spotting Popgun !!!
