Some amusing conundrums
I was flicking through the list of Apterous's list of "deleted conundrums" (i.e. valid conundrums which I felt were just too obscure to include). I found a handful of words which, although definitely too nasty to use in the game, seemed also too nice to ignore completely, so I thought I'd share 10 of the best with you. I'll pose them in puzzle form first of all, so feel free to use guesswork/Google/gigantic vocabularies to have a stab. I'll post the answers later on.

Re: Some amusing conundrums
I'm not sure of the answers, but these could come in very handy (when I've worked out them out) for when playing Goatdown
Thank you for posting these Charlie
EDIT: Actually if you could please post all the other obscure conundrums you have not included in Apterous Charlie, that would be awesome too

Re: Some amusing conundrums
Okay, answer time!
1. AACCDHORY -> ADHOCRACY (best portmanteau ever)
2. ACCEHNMMU -> MUMCHANCE (silent; wonder if this is related to keeping mum?)
3. ACIILMQTU -> QUITCLAIM (legal term; liked it for the WAREHOU factor)
4. AEEHHLLOO -> AHOLEHOLE (the hole in one's anus, perhaps? Talking of which, well done Mr Corby)
5. AEGOOSWYZ -> WAYZGOOSE (not l33t for "where's goose?" but, well, Wikipedia puts it better than I can.)
6. CGHIMMMOU -> MUMMICHOG (I really wanted this to be the term for a mummy hedgehog, but it's actually a fish)
7. DEEKKNSUW -> SKUNKWEED (well done Frank)
8. GLLNOOOOS -> SONGOLOLO
9. HEEELQRTU -> THREEQUEL
10. KHMMNORRU -> KRUMMHORN (maybe recognisable as crumhorn; a musical instrument)
11. BDEORSSTU -> SODBUSTER
12. DEGHKLNOU -> GUNKHOLED (not to be confused with SUCKHOLED, which is also valid)
13. BCENOOPPR -> COPPERNOB
14. EEHIKOPST -> SHITEPOKE

You should add these now as conundrums to see if anyone has learnt the wordsCharlie Reams wrote:Okay, answer time!
