That's what she implied. Presumably they'll keep Imafidon for that point. That's a good thing actually, and it would also suggest that if Susie is unavailable again they can chuck in Lemn Sissay...

I thought Anne was much better than her last two shows today - she didn’t interrupt with the challenger, she allowed him to speak and the diatribes were better to listen to – but I think she needs to distribute her talks with the champion and the challenger evenly. I have no issue with the chat between the rounds – it is polite to speak to the contestants so long as you do so politely – but I think this week Anne has been far too aggressive and grating towards the challenger. It’s unpleasant to watch. However I do believe she has got something in there than Hewer and Murray don’t.

Fun stat: Florence is the 50th octochamp to average above 100 under the incumbent 10-letter 4-number 15-round format (Andy Platt notwithstanding as his first 4 games were under the 11-letter 3-number 15-round format).
