C4C Podcast, Episode 4 (a new hope)
This is the time, and this is the hour. The long-awaited fourth episode of the C4C Podcast is upon us, with the usual ginger-blonde alliance at the helm. There are no major spoilers in this episode unless you're months behind.
Also if you want to listen to back episodes, we have a C4C podcast website now, although it's a bit crap because I made it in 48 seconds.

Be interesting to see how many people click 'Gevin click here'.
16/10/2007 - Episode 4460
Dinos Sfyris 76 - 78 Dorian Lidell
Proof that even idiots can get well and truly mainwheeled.

Thanks for that, Charlie and Jono!
Informative, funny in parts, over-long IMHO (46 minutes! ), and much improved by watching the psychedelic visualiser with Media Player!
Liked the funky Countdown remix - groovy, man!
I like the idea of an apterous Goatdown tournament, but 10 second rounds - please noooooo!
If some of you really like 10 second rounds, since apterous games are really quick, maybe 2 separate tournaments: one with 10 second rounds and one with 30 second rounds?

I am absolutely mortfied that in the podcast, it was mooted that in some way I abused my son when he was younger.
I deserve a full and unqualified apology from Jono and Charlie.
Just talking about it could bring back many false memories for him.
Like the time for three days solid I had to insert a suppository twice a day. It was prescribed by the doctors I tell you and he was only two. He may well remember it actually as to amuse him I managed to play the recorder whilst I was doing it.

This is without doubt the best way to respond to accusations of paedophilia. Michael Jackson, take note.Chris Corby wrote:I am absolutely mortfied that in the podcast, it was mooted that in some way I abused my son when he was younger.

Did you realize the link to Episode 3.1 leads to a 404 error?Charlie Reams wrote:Also if you want to listen to back episodes, we have a C4C podcast website now, although it's a bit crap because I made it in 48 seconds.

That had me pissing myself in work today
Charlie seemed to take a backseat though - Jono outshone him completely in this episode, which I don't remember happening in the previous n.

Part of the skill is knowing when to interrupt and when to let the other person run with something, and Jono was on fine comedy form so I don't mind letting him take the reins.Jon Corby wrote:Charlie seemed to take a backseat though - Jono outshone him completely in this episode, which I don't remember happening in the previous n.

Thanks for saying you dislike me Jono (in a subtle way) but I did enjoy your joke at the end - very good.

I said nothing of the sort, and I'm surprised you stayed listening that long. Thanks.

I listened to the end - I'm always intrigued what you two legends of the game will talk about. I took your comment of "shame" when Charlie said he didn't hate me the wrong way it seems.Jon O'Neill wrote:I said nothing of the sort, and I'm surprised you stayed listening that long. Thanks.
Oh, I love your dialogue after the countdown remix :
Jono: I went for a whizz in my....garden....in a hat.
Charlie: Brilliant.

I have to admit, I thought we weren't recording that bit. And about half of the rest of the programme, as might now be obvious.Kirk Bevins wrote: Jono: I went for a whizz in my....garden....in a hat.

Re: C4C Podcast, Episode 4 (a new hope)
I will admit to a particularly loud laugh at this one, as as anyone who attended the COLIN 07 afterparty will attest to, Jono has a remarkable reluctance to actually whizzing in a toilet.Kirk Bevins wrote:Jon O'Neill wrote:Oh, I love your dialogue after the countdown remix :

I enjoyed that, as I have with all the others.
