Eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted that in the last letters round, on the last letter Rachel drew the letter M turned upside-down making it appear as a funny-shaped W. When Colin Murray started the clock, the letter was immediately replaced with a W turned the right-way up.

A shame Joey only got 2 wins really, as he is better than most of the players above him in the seeding table. Just the way the cookie crumbles at the end of the day. Would have taken a tough player to beat Ruth today, though I have a feeling she may have chickened the odd word in the letters, so we'll see as to whether she chooses to take more risks on the letters if she faces a challenge...

Glad you have mentioned this - I saw it but immediately discounted as in the selection it was a real W. I forgot it could have been re-recorded.Philip A wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:51 pm Eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted that in the last letters round, on the last letter Rachel drew the letter M turned upside-down making it appear as a funny-shaped W. Had it have been left as an M, the max would still be 7 but it was much flatter with 14 sevens rather than 4.
