I make that 50.75 - I guess you mean ((100x50+75)/25)x2x2Rhys Benjamin wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 2:25 pm I BEAT RACHEL. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

You don't need the brackets after the 25. Doesn't division take place before multiplication?

Yeah, you don't need the extra brackets. It was a fairly standard 4-large solve so I was surprised Rachel didn't get it. I got it after the time and was kicking myself but I don't practise 4-large.
But minus points to Rhys for not adding the = 812. It might sometimes be obvious but generally it makes it much easier to quickly see which round someone is referring to without having to work through someone's method yourself.
I see we're back to 8-letter teasers.

Was the "Round 3" not obvious enough?Gavin Chipper wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 8:07 pmBut minus points to Rhys for not adding the = 812. No. People don't necessarily remember the round numbers that go with each target, or even what the specific targets were.Rhys Benjamin wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 8:21 pmWas the "Round 3" not obvious enough?Gavin Chipper wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 8:07 pmBut minus points to Rhys for not adding the = 812. Edit - I'm not picking on you in particular. I was thinking of mentioning this more generally anyway (e.g. in the "People you shouldn't trust" thread) but then this opportunity came up.

I know I'm a quarter of a year behind but just came on to see any posts about round 3. I think I remember seeing the 203 trick in the series finals or Christmas specials, (which I've seen) and just wanted to thank that person which lead to me beating Rachel and the contestants
