Re: Spoilers for Wednesday 22nd May 2019 (Series 80, Prelim 86)
My gosh, the largest winning margin ever! I don't think that will ever be beaten ever again (or in my lifetime dare I say this...)
Congrats Elliott and to Kieran if you happen to see this by chance, I'm so so sorry you had to face such an incredible player. Tbf, you deserved more than this...

Re: Spoilers for Wednesday 22nd May 2019 (Series 80, Prelim 86)
Another amazing performance. As has already been mentioned, it looks like the 1000 barrier could be smashed so hard, the 1100s are a real possibility.
Average of 141 required over the next 3 games. Will be a tough task, more so due to the chances of selections being kind to it as opposed to ability (Elliott's hitting somewhere in the region of 97-98% of max).
However, an average of 130 would beat even the highest Mocktorun total on Apterous, and that's under studio pressure. Insane.

The closest I got was "reckon there's a 9 there..."
Impressive stuff - feeling optimistic for the 1K target now!
And looked cool as anything - very well played.

(Kieran - I echo the others - brave attempt and hope we see you again)

Elliott already has more points than one of the octochamps this series, and after just five games!

Is there a policy of giving blanket do overs for players beaten by an octochamp ?

Fucking amazing. As stupid as it sounds, yesterday was a weak game by his standards, but that's him right back on track.

Like to put in a word for Kieran - he took it very well and was very pleasant to talk to in the green room. I didn't enjoy pulling off the largest winning margin, especially as there was a few rounds here he'd have got points against most other people. Also realised the "are you sure?" comment made me sound like a prick in this scenario - I wasn't trying to insult him but having watched it back it looked like it.

This is why we need a bit of punctuation for sarcasm.Ray Wilding wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 7:11 pmI was kidding.Owen Carroll wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 6:17 pmI gotta agree with Elliott here. That's a hard word to get.Elliott Mellor wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 6:09 pm

I think it can lose the effect if you have to point it out.Elliott Mellor wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 7:32 pmThis is why we need a bit of punctuation for sarcasm.Ray Wilding wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 7:11 pmI was kidding.Owen Carroll wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 6:17 pm

But seriously anyone on the spectrum ( and my daughter is ) may not get sarcasm unless it's telegraphed

Not according to the wiki. What were you thinking? This is me telling you off as well as asking for information.
(piecrusts not valid as mentioned by someone else if that's what it was.)

piecrust only appears in phases piecrust table and piecrust top now (though in ODE3 the definition of piecrust table used it as a stand alone word).
