Dorcas did another win and thus makes it 13 consecutive wins for women. Depressingly, can anyone think of a longer such run? (I know most actual stats databases don't have gender).

While Dorcas surprised me with her last numbers spot, I did wonder if her numbers skill was going to be her downfall, and losing 24 points on the first three numbers to her opponent was enough to lose her the game. In general she was a very good letters player.

Yeah, was sad to see her go, but matter of fact was that David was better today. Her talent on a good day was undeniable, though- one game she had maxed 8 out of the first 9 rounds. Doubt we'll see her in the finals, sadly.Gavin Chipper wrote: ↑Wed Feb 20, 2019 4:50 pm While Dorcas surprised me with her last numbers spot, I did wonder if her numbers skill was going to be her downfall, and losing 24 points on the first three numbers to her opponent was enough to lose her the game.
