A Frank Mulvey v Will D Downing special needs to happen. I only discovered this forum and the wiki as a result of wondering exactly when Downing's game had taken place, as I could still remember it so well.

Austin Shin is the first name that comes to mind, he could easily be up there as a top player if he applied himself on apterous. That said though there are plenty of top players who haven't got around to their first chances yet *cough* MB *cough* RF *cough*

I think James Rowan was unlucky to lose to a Hansforded conundrum on his only appearance.

Ciaran McCarthy
Adam Curran
James Rowan
Mark Perrett
Wendy Cooke (she's was a better player than her score suggests)

and slightly different: I think a deciding match between Bradley and Tom CC should happen, and maybe a few other "one-offs".
Definitely not Jamie McNeill or Schrodinger's Cat....

I believe he turned down such an opportunity, but nevertheless Jonny Rye deserved another go. Impressive and entertaining as George Ford's Countdown career proved to be, it was basically launched by administrative error.
