An exciting game by two good players today. Have to feel for Chris who, certainly could have become an octochamp, but as it was the 4th recording of the day, he under-performed imo and I think that fatigue probably played a part in his play today. Roger played very solidly and we shall have to see how he performs in SERIES 78 :D !!! Exciting times arise tomorrow as we see the "Talented" Tom Chafer-Cook take on "Gentle" Graeme Staples.
My scores for today:
Me:118-42 (Chris)
Me:118-66 (Roger)

Also in that round was ENTAIL for six. Worth mentioning because DC seemed to go for desperate measures in getting a six by getting a very obscure word (can't remember what it was).

I think Rachel was a bit too encouraging in round 14 when that guy was doing the numbers. She should have left him to it a bit more to see if he could make it on his own.

Bit of an un-PC introduction of the challenger. Wouldn't surprise me if there are a few complaints about that one.

I missed the introduction. Did he do a rendition of "Who ate all the pies?"

He told Chris he would have to "clamber over this guy" to get another win and then suggested it "might be difficult when you look at him".Or something like that.
