Guinness World Record Attempt....
Not next Sunday but the Sunday after, I will be attempting to break a Guinness World Record, for the most tennis balls (or soft toys) caught blindfolded in a minute (or 30 secs if ST). I will be doing it with my Dad/Sister, and will upload my video evidence here! I am posting this now as I am away all that week (minus the Sunday), and have a terrible memory!
COUNTDOWN or THE TUBE? Which is better? There's only one way to find out....

They're easier to catch blindfolded because they can't see you coming.
Good luck!

Re: Guinness World Record Attempt....
The Guinness site lists the current world records as 11 (tennis balls in 1 minute, individual) and 14 (soft toys in 30 seconds, team of two).

Is this actually eligible for Guinness? Back in the day they had to send one of their official ratifiers to watch in person, I think.

You can send video evidence, but it has to be uninterrupted and can take many a week to be verified. We looked into it once for a potential Longest Ever Board Game attempt.

Yes, I've heard some longer ones (like Tube Challenge) can take months! By which time, someone else may have done it better...Mark Deeks wrote:You can send video evidence, but it has to be uninterrupted and can take many a week to be verified.

Do you not know whether it's tennis balls or soft toys until you've caught the first one?Euan Slatter wrote:Not next Sunday but the Sunday after, I will be attempting to break a Guinness World Record, for the most tennis balls (or soft toys) caught blindfolded in a minute (or 30 secs if ST). Well good luck with that I do believe you have to start at chesham to have any chance.
I was going to do it back in the eighties before smart phones, but there was a partial tube strike on the day I planned it .

Start is best, but my route ends there. And anyway, i probably won't break it unless i get a new route in a few months!Marc Meakin wrote: I do believe you have to start at chesham to have any chance.
