You're both agreeing with each other. You're both saying it makes no difference, however you peel them off. No need for this to come to blows, guys. Mark Deeks is the one you want to fight.
Edit - Really unlucky that this came up at the top of a new page after I decided not to bother quoting.

You're both clearly too manly. Have a delicate female touch like mine and you'll understand.

It was only relatively late in life that I found out that you don't have to eat round a pear in the same way you have to with an apple. Once you've taken off the very top bit with the stalk, you can actually eat straight down from the top - the core bit is actually very small and only at the bottom of the pear. The bit you're left with at the end will be much smaller than the core of an apple.

You know apple seeds contain a compound that the body converts into cyanide, right?Thomas Carey wrote:am I the only one who eats all of apples and pears (apart from the stalk, and some seeds if they end up in easy-to-remove positions)
Mind you, I think you'd have to eat about a million seeds within a few hours to poison yourself that way, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I used to work with a guy from Guyana who ate everything on fruit veg and fish including fish and prawn heads.
I still peel shrimps and won't eat apple skins. Though I do eat potato skins

I worked with a guy from Guyana,
He had a big thing with banana,
He'd eat them all day,
He'd eat them each way,
Even ways that were banned in Montana!

I can't improve on your work obviously but I thought I'd give a go at making both syllables of "Guyana" rhyme.
I worked with a guy from Guyana,
Who was always producing high drama,
He went to Tibet,
Smoked crack with a vet,
And now he thinks he's the Dalai Llama.
Needs work.

In other news, have we touched upon the right way to eat a banana yet? Opening at the opposite end of the stalk, and using the stalk as a handle of course.

I'm pretty sure it has come up before, and it's total bollocks. Only rarely is it even slightly awkward to peel a banana the normal way, and if you open it the wrong way, you end up with the shitty bit on the top and you now have to make an effort to get rid of that before eating it.Ian Volante wrote:In other news, have we touched upon the right way to eat a banana yet? So I made a video of this a while back just to show you that it's utter bullshit. Not obvious I suppose, but certain sportspeople's names that I'd only heard said by commentators and then one day see them written and it's completely different from what I expected. Brian Ideye and Van Sinclair come to mind.
Mike Brown: "Round 12: T N R S A E I G U

C2: SEATING (7)
Score: 108–16 (max 113)
Another niner for Adam and yet another century. Well done, that man."

That reminded me of last saturday when one of the contestants on the X factor, was murdering Creep by Radiohead my girlfriend said that it sounded like the Hollies Air that I Breathe.
I googled it to find that Radiohead had to give the Hollies songwriters credit as a result of this at the time of it being released as a single.

Just realised my grammatical error there.
You did make 2 + 2 =5 five though.
Still, everything in its right place, eh.
i might of thought you was getting at me.
I don't want to be a paranoid android about it.
Although if you do want to fight about it, you and whose army.
By the by, I doubt if many of you will be able to work out how many Radiohead songs were mentioned .

According to this, they're feet. It also makes a big deal of the fact that they're not claws, but feet. But really, they're the same basic part of the anatomy and thinking they're claws when really they're feet is basically correct.
