666 numbers game request

Cerebral distractions of every kind, mostly but not exclusively Countdown-related.

666 numbers game request

Post by Stewart Holden »

Your best efforts, please, for a difficult numbers game with a target of 666.

Standard Countdown rules to apply, but I'd prefer a solution that doesn't involve going above 1000 and then dividing down again (i.e. it should be tricky but not that tricky). Thanks in advance for your devilish efforts.

6 6 6 6 6 2 - 666

If this is for Hallowe'en on next year's calendar, I'm going to duck out of the thread because otherwise it'll spoil it for me when it comes to 31st Oct 2016 (and 2017, and 2018, and 2019...)

Even with upside down 9s you're going to struggle with that.

It's Hallowe'en, so some of the other numbers have come dressed as sixes.

(Edit: I realise I'm the only one who has introduced the fact that it's anything to do with Hallowe'en, but I'm running with it.)

Maybe we should use this thread to come up with other ideas for Stewart's Hallowe'en-Countdown thing, whatever it is. Maybe a round where you bob for apples with letters on, and then try to make a word with them? That sort of thing.

Don't worry too much about the initial "666 numbers game" request, doesn't seem quite so important now.
