Spoilers For Monday June 1st 2015
So, we've reached June, and that means we're pretty close to crowning the first champion of 2015, with the finals starting on Wednesday.
We have our 8 finalists, so these last 2 preliminaries being broadcast today and tomorrow will decide who will be the carryover champion for the next series, which starts on June 15.
James Judge is in pole position at the moment, having won Friday's close encounter. But, we'll be the "Judge" to see if he can keep it up.
Only 4 episodes this week, so Gloria Hunniford will be in all week, with us off to the horses on Friday......
Andy will be recapping later on.

GREIGE in round 10, one of my favourite words, as well as JIGGER.

INPUTTED for an 8 in one of those rounds - it seems Nick completely forgot to go to Dictionary Corner. I got 657 in the 660 round. (100-3)×(4+1+1)+75.Tony Atkins wrote:Beaters available in the SHOOTER+BA round and the untipped+T round (though I manage PUTTIED for 7).

Re: Spoilers For Monday June 1st 2015
Would have been a different final if Graeme had such a deadpan delivery of the conundrum solution!
Mike Brown: "Round 12: T N R S A E I G U
C1: SIGNATURE (18) ["9; not written down"]
C2: SEATING (7)
Score: 108–16 (max 113)
Another niner for Adam and yet another century. Well done, that man."

Not a lot of people know this, but the difference between -ISE and -IZE endings is in the deadpanness of the delivery. So if you ever have to decide which ending to use, think how it would be said in the sentence.Adam Gillard wrote:Would have been a different final if Graeme had such a deadpan delivery of the conundrum solution!
