Spoilers for Thursday November 20th 2014 (S71 P90)

Post by Jordan F »

Malcolm Fletcher won in a game that wasn't the highest scoring contest of the season. Let's see if he can improve with win number 2. It won't be easy to do though, as apterite Eddy Byrne will try to get his first win. Will he do it?

Bit weird that Rachel didn't tell us the first letter in round 11. She thanked Malcolm X and then said nothing.

I think Eddy got a bit too excited at the end and nearly blew his 32 point lead. RATTLIER is the best in the round
where he went for a 9 and there is a beater in the OUTAGES+SF round. Alt of CARRION in the CORSAIR round
though I stupidly thought it was a 6. Also made the 617 in the third numbers but well out of time.

I'm glad Eddy won, cos I brought him along to the studio the night before as my plus one, just to give him an idea of what the studio was like, it seems like it worked well, despite the hairy end there :!: :!:

PNEUMAS in round 1, ROUTINED in round 4, MANUCODE in round 7 and MAESTRI in round 13.

Absolutely n.a.w. OUTGASES for a real beater in round 10.

Well done Edward, a very solid performance, despite almost blowing it late on. Credit to Malcolm for coming back to make it a grandstand finish.

I got really complacent in the last few rounds, I spotted trailer straight away, and then the last few were a panic, but I redeemed myself with the conundrum, which wasn't the hardest one in fairness
