If 147 comes up again in the next day or two, assuming he's still under guarantee, CECIL should be unplugged put back in his box and taken back to the shop where he was bought.

Rigatoni in ROASTING round. Unsure whether I can put the S on the end for a nine though?

Excellent standard of play from Tricia again.

We discussed Sean's point in chat today since Giles spotted it too, and it came up that rigatoni may already be plural.

It doesn't have it as a plural in the dictionary. However:noun
Pasta in the form of short hollow fluted tubes.
Basically go with what the dictionary says. Dictionary says "no".No results found for “rigatonis”.

Re: Spoilers for Thursday July 24th 2014 (S71 P17)
Tricia was terrific today,my one slight reservation about her going all the way,is her numbers, she slipped up on a very doable one yesterday, (today's number games were all very getable, so she was'nt really tested and we didn't learn much).
It's very early days, but if I was offered odds of 7/1 about her winning the series, I would take them!

That comment is both cuntish and arithmetically incorrect.Rhys Benjamin wrote:Tricia, love, the '50s called. They said they finished 55 years ago.

What the hell are you trying to achieve? Not only as Callum pointed out that it's arithmatically incorrect, but what why do you mention the 1950's? Do you think she should stay in the '50s? That's harsh and somewhat doesn't comply with the laws of physics.Rhys Benjamin wrote:Tricia, love, the '50s called. They said they finished 55 years ago.

Re: Spoilers for Thursday July 24th 2014 (S71 P17)
Based on today's performance, I think it's probably good that Tricia beat Jason yesterday. She seems the better player overall. And a very good player. We'll have to see if a potential weakness in the numbers and having to write down the conundrums has any effect later on.
(It was about 55 years ago. Not to the nearest second though.)

Well yes, but it's a pity they couldn't have met about 4 games later. Jason was strong finalist material.Gavin Chipper wrote:Based on today's performance, I think it's probably good that Tricia beat Jason yesterday. She seems the better player overall.
The series started slowly, but ever since we've had a splurge of very good players who are all tripping over each other.

This comment is both patronising and unnecessary.Rhys Benjamin wrote:Tricia, love, the '50s called. They said they finished 55 years ago.
Back to the important point- the game! -Tricia is proving formidable..excellent spot on the 9 letter word. Playing against her yesterday and today, both would have been a crucial conundrum and she would have beaten me today..great performance...Should be a strong contender to get to the finals

I was surprised at this comment, even from Rhys.Rhys Benjamin wrote:Tricia, love, the '50s called. They said they finished 55 years ago.
Tricia played brilliantly today, just as yesterday. She'd probably seen the max in the two rounds where she got words disallowed - had she maxed those, only ZEDOARY would have prevented her getting a max game.

I would have been 15 ahead going into the conundrum yesterday so I'm surprised you would have had a crucial. Would have tried parolable as well today but didn't spot granulite and would have lost.Mark Murray wrote:Playing against her yesterday and today, both would have been a crucial conundrum and she would have beaten me today..great performance...Should be a strong contender to get to the finalsRhys Benjamin wrote:Tricia, love, the '50s called. Fantastic play by Tricia again, she seems to be a formidable player. Back-to-back 12-maxes is an awesome start! I'm glad they've relaxed the ruling on only being allowed to apply once as it's allowed us to see the best of players like her.
ZEDOARY (late spot) for a beater in round 4.
