(7+9)x(25+(6x2)) is an easier way to 592.

I thought it was a very low combined score of 78.Tony Atkins wrote:Record breaking show! Beat the lowest winning score by 6 points.

It nearly broke it, just lost out by a point to this one..............: http://wiki.apterous.org/Episode_5734Mark Kudlowski wrote:I thought it was a very low combined score of 78.Tony Atkins wrote:Record breaking show! Beat the lowest winning score by 6 points.
Series 71 is proving to be a nightmare start all round.................. Too many unnecessary risks with words that people think are just going to be in the "up-to-date" dictionary...........
ORDAIN in round 1, MISLEAD in round 2, PRIMATE/RAGTIME/VIRGATE in round 4, REBUILT/TILBURY (which I literally just looked up 5 minutes before it was on screen) in round 10 (my mum got CRUELTY in that one too ) and SUASION in round 12.
1st Numbers Alt.: ((25 - 2) x (9 + 8 + 7)) + 9 = 561
2nd Numbers Alt.: ((((25 - 7) x 5) + 9) x 6) - 2 = 592
3rd Numbers Alt.: ((100 + 75) x 4) + 9 - 8 = 701

Another alt for 592, practicing those split multiplications again: ((25 x 6) - 2) x (9 - 5)

Winner failed to max a single round - is that a first?

I think so, Steve Wood got just the one max in this Series 61 game: http://wiki.apterous.org/Episode_4904Fred Mumford wrote:Winner failed to max a single round - is that a first?
But, I think you might have a first.

How many times did Rob declare 5?(another possible record!) I lost track and I certainly don't want to watch it again!

A first for me. I managed to nil out an opponent.
The champion scored zero and the challenger 14 against my 115.
