You're surely not implying that because he didn't win an Olympic medal, his career was somehow a failure?Steven M. McCann wrote:Mark Foster's 47 medals, how many Olympic ones?

No, not at all, but I found Nick's introduction a wee bit over the top.

Terrible pronunciation of OUTJIE from Susie. I can understand this is a difficult one to pronounce, but there's no excuse when you have the dictionary there with the pronunciation guide.

Another niner for Adam and yet another century. Well done, that man."

That "841... No, wait, I meant to say 843" was very dodgy. I know there wasn't much of a delay, but still - Bobby had 847 so could have got 7 points there.

Re: Spoilers For Monday June 23rd 2014
I don't think a contestant should be punished for accidentally saying the wrong number as long as they correct themselves immediately. The same small amount of leeway is allowed when a contestant goes through their method. I think it would have been more unjust if Andy's quickly-corrected declaration hadn't been accepted and he'd lost because of it.Adam Gillard wrote:That "841... We'll all look back and laugh when the electronic declaration system is rolled out.

Re: Spoilers For Monday June 23rd 2014
Couple of alt numbers games, sorry a bit late in watching:
481 = ((6 x (7 + 4) + 3) x 7) - 2
236 = (50 + 9) x (7 - 3)
481 = ((6 x (7 + 4) + 3) x 7) - 2
236 = (50 + 9) x (7 - 3)

Did anyone else think he only looked for/found DELUSION after Bobby had declared 8?Graeme Cole wrote:I don't think a contestant should be punished for accidentally saying the wrong number as long as they correct themselves immediately.
