Was it just me or did the music carry on playing after Neil buzzed?

Shorter than DC's word for Round 1, but would have won the round:

If you look again, when Neil buzzes, 1.5 seconds are gone, but after the conundrum is revealed, 2.5 seconds are gone.Jojo Apollo wrote:Yes I think it did, I just thought my telly was out of sync.Bradley Cates wrote:Was it just me or did the music carry on playing after Neil buzzed?
Must be like when they had to redo the conundrum in your quarter-final, Bradley.
ENRICHES in round 1 and ASTOUND in round 12.

Quite an interesting game. Neither player put in their best performance. Mark might be feeling quite lucky that Neil didn't put in a stronger showing and Neil might be feeling annoyed he didn't capitalise on a potential opportunity.

Re: Spoilers For Wednesday June 25th 2014
I thought Mark looked quite tired during the game, probably because it was the last game of the filming day and he probably wanted to save his energy for the final.Gavin Chipper wrote:Quite an interesting game. Well played Mark, OXIDASE in particular was very nice. Neil, you gave him a good run for his money and it just didn't fall your way with those riskier declarations. Looking forward to this series' conclusion - could be very close!
Mike Brown: "Round 12: T N R S A E I G U
C1: SIGNATURE (18) ["9; not written down"]
C2: SEATING (7)
Score: 108–16 (max 113)
Another niner for Adam and yet another century. Well done, that man."

Re: Spoilers For Wednesday June 25th 2014
Very good game. Congrats Mark for making the final, NORMATIVE was a superb nine under the pressure as it was a very close game until then. Neil's been consistently good too and deserves credit. That was a very good conundrum solve, even if it was academic.
