Spoilers For Easter Monday April 21st 2014
So, it's Easter, and it's already shaping up to be a great week, probably because I'm buoyed up after the fantastic CO:REA event at the weekend.
But, now back to the main course, as we now eagerly await whether Mark Murray will become the 2nd octochamp of the series, but unlike quite a few potential octochamps in recent series, Mark's target is pretty simple.
All Mark needs to do is win to put him at #1 seed, as his points total is already higher than the octototal of Andy Naylor. But, he does have a more than realistic chance of getting into the very prised 900 Club, which he'll do with a score of 108 points.
Louise Minchin finishes her stint in DC today, before Arlene Phillips returns tomorrow for the rest of the week, up until Friday, when racing takes over once more..........
Join Andy later on for the recap.

Alt 3rd numbers (8/4)x100-8-6.
Also found a times 10 method for the second numbers and a plus 75 method on the first (after Rachel's solve).

Awesome, I think that's the 11th highest scoring octorun ever, and for me it's the most entertaining one I've ever watched start to end. Great stuff Mark.

Managed to tie with Mark today, despite writing the conundrum mix down wrong as SUMOGRAIN which cannot
be a mix as it has two answers!
I congratulated Mark on his run online last night and told him even casual viewers I have met this week have been
impressed by how well he played.

Superb set of games, Mark. Congrats on becoming an octochamp
Re: Spoilers For Easter Monday April 21st 2014
What more impressed me than anything about Mark is how well he did under the circumstances of his run. At least 3 opponents he faced probably could have been octochamps in their own right, and so to score that well and still score 902 really impresses me. Really well done Mark.

Super impressive stuff, yet again, Mark.
902 points is super amazing, and well deserved
Just a note to everyone, in case you didn't read at the top (since I just edited it), there's no show on Friday............

Agree with everything here. Fantastic run Mark, you had a very tough set of opponents so you could easily have scored more. You must surely be the red hot favourite to win the series, unless there's someone else of note going on that I haven't heard about. It'll take a really good player to stop you.Jordan F wrote:What more impressed me than anything about Mark is how well he did under the circumstances of his run.
