So, we're into the first part of Finals Week this week. Well, it doesn't start til Thursday, but that's not bad, when you consider that we might have 3 more days of our champion in action.
And that champion, who has now guaranteed his place in the finals, is Jonathan Rawlinson, who is currently in the #6 spot, although he only needs to win with a score of 29 points or more to jump up to 4th place.
He won't let us down..............surely
Back in DC, after a 1 episode stint in a special last year is the ex-GMTV presenter, turned novelist, Penny Smith.

MISCUE as equal in R4 (QUICKS round) and LABOUR as beater in R8 (CABAL round).
Loved the way EPILATOR(S) appeared twice.

That would be nice, but there was no R there, so a bit of a BLOB.Tony Atkins wrote:LABOUR as beater in R8 (CABAL round).
OPERANT/PRAETOR in round 2, PHONATE in round 6, FUNDIE in round 9, TEMPORAL in round 11 and FORELEG in round 12.

Simpler is relative. She made use of the 937.5 rule, which I'm sure means she got there very easily.Malcolm James wrote:Rachel did make life hard for herself in R5. Far simpler was (100+25+9)x7=938
