WANTED - Participants for mental health documentary
I'm sure quite a lot of you have been contacted by Jade Gilbert through apterous over the last couple of days (let's face it, I haven't played for months so she must have found a ton of you before she found me). If you haven't then read on.
Jade is looking for participants to contribute to a documentary about mental health issues for Channel 4 and is particularly keen to talk to people who have not yet appeared on Countdown.
"We are trying to tackle the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health issues such as depression, OCD, anxiety, bipolar and bulimia.
We are looking for people who have experienced mental health issues personally, and people who haven't but want to help us fight the stigma."
Jade's details if you want to help her:

An especially vulnerable sector of society, in my experience.Matt Morrison wrote:Jade is looking for participants to contribute to a documentary about mental health issues for Channel 4 and is particularly keen to talk to people who have not yet appeared on Countdown.

Having some random researcher spam almost every apterous user is annoying enough without having her details cross-posted to here as well. Do we really want to encourage these people?

Ah sorry. Delete if you see fit, I was just passing it all on as a shrug.

I don't think being a sad cunt qualifies as a mental illness yet.Ian Volante wrote:She certainly came to the right place...

Yes, if I was looking for people who hadn't been on Countdown to take part in a documentary, I'd probably start with Countdown-related website users too.Ian Volante wrote:She certainly came to the right place...

She asked Graeme, I think. I think Graeme would be pretty good on the show.
