C2: 760. (7*10+3*2)*10 (10)
Score: 37–30 (max 38)

Easy 6 small.

Gloria ends the week with that stupid ‘elephant in Denmark’ trick. I usually say ‘echidna in Djibouti’ but as Gloria specified that it had to be European the echidna had to be Danish.

Teatime teaser: HANDOUTS -> THOUSAND

Round 6: M N R A E S U Z A

C1: NAMES (5)
C2: SMEAR (5)
DC: SURNAME (7)

C1: womens
C2: womens
DC: WINSOME (7)

OT: NATTIER (7) PARTITE (7) PATTERN (7) PERTAIN (7) REPAINT (7)
Score: 73–59 (max 91)

Another flat seven round. Wonder what the flattest possible round (the one with the most valid words of a certain length but no longer ones) is? AEGINORST has 21 eights. See if you can beat that.

Round 13: S O T H U R L I I

C1: SOUTH (5)
C2: SHOUT (5)
DC: SLOTH (5) HOURIS (6)
OT: LOUTISH (7)

To win, Stewart needs to beat Chris on the numbers. Gamble time.

C1: 741. (100+50)*5-9 (10)
C2: 741. 100/50*5*75-9 (10)
Score: 88–74 (max 108)

CHRIS HAS WON!

And he gets that 3 large but so does Chris.

Round 15: N I G H T L O O M

C1 buzzes on 0 seconds to say MOONLIGHT which is correct.
Final Score: 98–74 (max 118)

Superfast conundrum buzz (albeit with an easy scramble) from Chris, who has narrowly missed out on a century each time.

Can he make it to half-octochampdom? Join Graeme on Monday to find out.

Meanwhile, Rachel gives Nick a birthday present – a Manchester United hat.

Score: 98-74
Raw: 104-91
Maxes: 9-7

Round 2 here. 31 sevens.
I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.

I thought it was in 1976 when I studied Geology. But the COD7 wanted you to call them erratic blocks.
