Pffffffff, how many lives does Carl Williams have
After controversially escaping defeat last Wednesday, he blew away a commanding position yesterday, only to be saved by a stinker of a conundrum. How many more of 9 lives will he use up today
If he returns from his sickbed, Liam will hopefully give us the recap along with last week's too.

I went and read the recap/spoilers thread for last Wednesday - what was the controversy? Sounds exciting.

The fact that he buzzed in with 0.25 seconds to go in the conundrum, and he clearly looked like he blagged the answer.
It's been mentioned nearly every day since.

Ah, gotcha. When I saw in the recap that it was 29.75 I did wonder if it was something like that.

Didn't you try (and fail) to do exactly the same on your show?

In a sort of way, yes. Although, you could argue in my case that justice was done.

I just watched both (yours and Carl's), and I've gotta say, he was a hell of a lot smoother than you

Is the first time ever that Beavis has played Butthead on countdown?
