Spoilers For Friday July 22nd 2011
So, we have reached the end of a Deekensean era. Mark has departed with the title of octochamp and currently, the #1 seed.
2 newbies will enter the fray today, but who will be victorious in time for the summer break
Yes, that's right, folks. Countdown is heading into its summer break, but there is going to be a special on Monday, before its break of X weeks (I actually don't know how many it is, presumably 4.)
Mike will be around later.

My online listings say that Monday's special is a repeat from 1982. Anybody know if that's true?

Re: Spoilers For Friday July 22nd 2011
It simply refers to the year the programme was first shown. Probably to distinguish it from several films of the same name.

Re: Spoilers For Friday July 22nd 2011
This is why I assumed it was a repeat, but that can hardly be the case if it explicitly promises Rachel who was not even alive then. Shome mishtake shurely.Liam Tiernan wrote:It simply refers to the year the programme was first shown. Probably to distinguish it from several films of the same name.
