The first programme of Series 2 to get the ‘max only’ treatment. For the record, in those days, you didn’t have to get within 10 of the numbers target to score 5 points and you only got 10 points for a nine-letter word.

Really? I always assumed the 18 points for a nine-letter word had been the case since forever. In Episode 77 from the same series they seem to have awarded 18 points for BREEZIEST, so did they change the rules mid-series?

Yeah - both rules changed at the start of the 'qualifying prelims', i.e. Episode 66.
