Well, I'm all out of recaps. My work is done. ;) :) :D  8-)

So, tidy up on the wiki will be by next job, which will take me many, many hours, but will be nice to have an even more relaxing job to do. 8-)
S'pose you could add the max words for the Series 2 progs as they get added - and maybe do partial c4c recaps for - if you fancy it. :) I've got a few of the contestants' scores and words from the qualifiers that I've yet to add and will probably do partial recaps for in the next week or two.
That would be nice, although I know what my first task is,........... wiki cleaning.

Making sure that all the wiki pages are spick and spam is my big task.

That'll keep me going for a bit. ;) :) :D

No worries, just didn't want to think you were having too much of a rest... and I sincerely hope you're not going to spam the wiki. :o :o

Wow. Finally done those 20 recaps that I booked in February.

Series 17 is now complete.

For whoever puts them on the wiki, I have the wikicap for most of them, but I can't put them on because I don't have an account.

A bit of cleanup is required, e.g. one of them is in the database 3 times, another lists Evan Simpson's name as Ewan, etc.

Are there any more unbooked historical recaps where Mike's notes are readable?

I believe all of the recaps are done now, Thomas. We've just been waiting for you to finish to make it official. 8-)

If you have the wikicaps, you can forward them to me, so I can put them on for you.

Just the Rounds bit

I also have a screenshot of 18 Jan, ask if you require it.
(The internet was dying and I managed to screenshot this before it did)

EP.SThey don't have episode numbers, and say they were 15s in the category thing. Sorry!

It will be done. Haven't done much wikiwork recently so will get me back editing. :)

Yahoo seem to have done something to the groups so the pages that redisplay from there in series 50/51
eg http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/gevinc ... ssage/4350 give an error that the content cannot
be shown in a frame, but gives you a link to open a new window.

Also some from 2006 at the end of S54 and the 1st of S55 (games 690-700 and 713) are now blank.

Hopefully someone can sort it, and maybe convert the yahoo ones to current format!

Are all of the historical recaps supposed to be hosted on here as well as the Countdown database, or is cdb the main hub? Only I was looking for the MUTINEER game featured on the wiki and only found a recap on cdb.

So having been sent Andy Bruno’s Series 1 episodes I suppose that’s the best way we have to go and fill in the missing information: search out former contestants and ask for them to fill in the gaps.

If you include missing ttt clues there’s 1,411 episodes with at least some information missing. So whilst everything from Series 58 onwards is complete (mainly thanks to this thread and its predecessor), if you were on before that please have a look through the Wiki and see if there’s anything you can fill in from your episode(s) - even if it’s just a Teaser clue. Most people have kept recordings of their games, I believe.

Of course, it’s only thanks to Mike and Robbo we’ve got this far. But I’m a perfectionist...
