Return of the Awesome Dudes

Any recaps from older series should be posted here. This forum is unlikely to contain spoilers, but recaps may contain "forward references" if they are written much later, so approach with caution.

Thanks for joining the Recap Gang, Sophie. Your recap(s) will also need to be added to the wiki. Maybe your brother can show you what to do. :)
Thing is her name hasn't been added to the list of recappers.
True, although I'm sure Charlie will do so. That's not necessary to update the wiki, though... :?

Well, the best thing for you to do is to cut the recap out of this topic and put it in a new topic in the Historical Recap section.

Preferably with the title: Wednesday 11th January 1989 (Series 17, Prelim 1) :D

NOTE: If you don't want to quote yourself, hit the "Post Reply" button at the bottom or top of the page.

Welcome to the Historical Recap club, Thomas. Good to have you on board!

One quick thing: if that's an unknown conundrum scramble, it needs an asterisk after it to indicate the fact, as there are a few genuine alphabetical order ones out there.

Possibly for other peeps: can I assume someone will pick up the wiki entries at some point?

You can't, but you can consult the 'dictionaries' pages at http://www.thecountdownpage.com or http://wiki.apterous.org. :)
I still don't know what the 'full website address' for the reacp is.
I think Joseph might - do you want me to ask him or do you want to text him?[/quote]

Probably ask as it be cheaper.

Done. I'll continue with series 10, by taking the first 5 games.

On the 21st I submitted 2 recaps for the 1st game in Series17, a blank one and then a real one. When you click on it It still shows the blank one; please could you change this? Thanks :D

Edit: It does show, but at the bottom of the page. The blank one is at the top (it's the first game in the series) where the real one (which is currently at the bottom) should go. Please change this.

I know I'm quoting from a post posted over 6 months ago, but seeing as all Careys are related, I'm related to a guy who went on Countdown. Yay.
