I didn't see that and couldn't be arsed to be honest with you. Had you used Charlie's recap writer, those errors would never have come about anyway.
Re: [20080926] Friday's game, 26th September 2008, S59 G50
I'll have fucked off in a few weeks anyway, not my concern then.
----
Top line edited in accordance with general consensus of opinion.
----
My methods are perhaps not the most efficient, but they are my methods for my reasons.
----
The new version of Charlie's recap writer is a neat little tool in the present version and is most agreeable, though I do hope it does not inadvertantly encourage the user to not edit the text once done in order to add their own particular flavour. Some people find that meaningful...
I do like to credit people with what they find with initials and including numbers alternatives, I think it is the most respectful thing to do. I have been quite enjoying my little game with the conundrum declarations too. Because I can be arsed.
The review in all it's glory exists as a backup text file, so if this thread vanishes any times soon, suits me.

Don't think the Recap Writer would've caught this one.DaveC wrote:The review in all it's glory exists as a backup text file, so if this thread vanishes any times soon, suits me.
Re: [20080926] Friday's game, 26th September 2008, S59 G50
I almost feel like I'm arguing against myself (starting to wonder about my own sanity) I have explored the review writer somewhat, what it does and doesn't do. It does pick up the use of more than one of a letter that exists only once in the selection, so Escribed does get picked up. Also of course the dictionary linked "find words" thing doesn't make typos. So both my minor errors would have been spotted.
It would appear that it doesn't check capitalised entries by DC or either contestant against the dictionary, so a typing transposition in C1, C2 or DC would not be spotted in the current version. A possible development for a future version, I suspect it requires no further technical achievement beyond what it already does.
Many of the numbers rounds I pass into Excel as a checking method, so perhaps passing the text through a decent spellchecker at the end, would be a worthy addition to the process (as in doing it myself, copy, paste) I shall explore that.
