The solution given for the first numbers is wrong, and doesn't even use the given numbers.
My solution was (50+2)x(75-25+7)/3 = 988

Another oops: thinking about this again, I guess COSTUMER is OK (as DC seemed to think), as although it is US, it is not (quite) a spelling variation (rather like HAULER). Which means Countmax is probably also wrong. At least I'm in good company!Mike Brown wrote:Round 12: T Z S C U O E R M
