After repeatedly insisting to the c4c messageboard that he isn't a very good player, David finally made his long-awaited debut last Thursday, producing a very high quality performance to defeat three-time winner Marjorie Hillman 110 points to 54. He just fell short of another century in Friday's game but it was another excellent showing nonetheless; formidable stuff, can he keep it up?

More good stuff from David, but once again the conundrum proves the stumbling block to achieving another century (although this one, to be fair, was pretty difficult). Still, plenty of time for more centuries, as it seems inconceivable that the estimable Mr. O'Donnell will be knocked out before completing his octochamp run.
