Majorie's win yesterday didn't seem to impress too many of the
forumites (we really are 'forum'ites now!) While some thought the
standard was a little low others were critical of the fact that she
solved the solution using a method that was slightly longer, but no
less correct, than how they would have done it. I can't speak for
Marjorie but I am sure her considered response would be, "BOG OFF!!"

I never judge a player too harshly on their first time out so let's
see what Marjorie is made of today, shall we?

Round 1: M J Z A I E S A M

stream; and RAVIN is robbery or/and the act of rapine.

Round 15: G R I P A T A N K
C1 buzzes on 5 seconds to say PARTAKING which is correct.
Score: 73–69 (max 128)

Well, well ... Marjorie looked down and out for much of that game. It
didn't even look like a crucial conundrum was going to be necessary
but Marjorie dug deep and found the solution to the last numbers. She
showed some fighting skills to claim another scalp, it may not have
been pretty but ... WAR IS WAR!

This is basically where I came in since it was the last show of the
day and I played in the second recording of the next day. I met
Marjorie and some of the other contestants in the bar that night and
you could tell that Marjorie was somewhat buoyed by this victory: now
I see why!

How will Marjorie fare tomorrow? Hmmmn, I wonder ...
