Tim's now onto his seventh game and is yet to be really tested by any challenger (his lowest winning margin so far is 28 points); early fears that he might struggle on the numbers have proved unfounded, although he's certainly stronger on the letters games.

So that's seven wins now for Tim, making him pretty much a certainty to return at the end of the series for the finals. It looked as though Ros was going to give him a real run for his money here, bettering Tim in three letters rounds (previous opponents have only beaten him once at most) but she just wasn't quite consistent enough in the end.
