Countdown recap for Friday 8 March 2019.

C1: Champion Maggie Barlow (1 win, 73 points.) A retired librarian from Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
C2: Challenger Julia Wilkinson. A retired science teacher from Southampton. She supports Chelsea F.C.. She had previously appeared on the show in 2002, firstly winning the last 7 prelims of Series 47, which wouldn't have got her into those series finals, as there were 8 octochamps, then she won the first prelim of Series 48, and qualified for those finals as the #5 seed, where she was knocked out in the quarter-finals by Danny Hamilton, who then got 146-ed by Julian Fell in the semis... :P :P
