C1: Champion Julie Gray (2 wins, 152 points.) A school cover supervisor from Yarm, Cleveland.
C2: Challenger Mark Jeary. A writer from Glasgow. He worked and starred in Blackout, a play which was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe this year, as well as touring the country. He had previously been on the show in Series 39 in 1998, when he won one show, before losing the second on a tiebreak. Also, he was also involved in the legendary Countdown Gotcha episode, as it was he who "couldn't make the show" to force the brilliant show that we had!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
