ANNEAL seals a good early lead for the Challenger and the Champ needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat to get back into the game.

C2: -
Score: 25–28 (max 39)

That was just the trick for the Champ and it's game on again.

Sue tells us about the letters they receive on Corrie and the amout of hours they have to put in recording the show. They can work 13 hours a day for six days a week and still have time to learn their lines - They live in a shoebox and lick t' road clean wit' tongue! They sure have it tough on Corrie!

Round 15: A U N T E N I D D

C1 buzzes to say ATTENUATED which is incorrect.
C2 buzzes on 16 seconds to say INUNDATED which is correct.
Score: 92–91 (max 130)

After a wobbly start the Champ, Denis, makes agood recovery and puts in another solid performance.

Colin, the Challenger, showed a good level of ability but came unstuck in the first numbers round, which ultimately proved to be the difference between the two players - Getting the Conundrum left him tantalisingly one point short at the end. Bad luck!

This was a very enjoyable game played at quite a reasonable level.

Finally, Des asks Denis if he will perform some of his close up magic if he wins another couple of games - Watch out Paul Zenon!
