M&S individual steak pie + mixed veg and a couple of small potatoes. Right now am having a cup of their 'Christmas' coffee - black, no sugar. Was given Warre's Otima 10 port for Xmas, so later will be enjoying a glass with a chunk of Stilton.

I had a chicken club sandwich with lovely tangy mayonnaise. I also had some of my mates starter which was a cube of crusty cheese with melty cheese on the inside. It was unbelievable. Although he was dipping it it in cranberry sauce which I didn't do because then it would have been awful.

M&S were doing 2 packs of sausages for £3, and a special offer on a caramelised onion sauce for sausages, so I've put some in a casserole and am waiting to see how they turn out, while the new potatoes cook.
P.S. I've now had a look at the instructions on the jar of sauce, and see that I should have browned the sausages first so hope the result will be OK

Later: the sausages are done and are pretty tasty. The texture could be better, so I must try browning them next time.

Benzydamine? Really? It sounds like you swallowed it! AFAIK it is still only available in the UK as a mouthwash, throat spray and cream, none of which should be ingested (it is available as a lozenge but you wouldn't 'swill' something down with a lozenge). I know as I used to work on the product!

No. That's OK. The dose is so tiny that you don't really swallow much. You can hardly 'swill' your dinner down with a throat spray though. But, it IS much better than most other products because it does, at least, have an active ingredient.
But you don't want to be swallowing the mouthwash (or, indeed, the cream).

Haha, I've recently become excited in the other direction (?) having bought some conchiglioni (like conchigli, but huge). They're lovely stuffed with minced pork and onions, covered in bechamel sauce and parmesan, and baked on a bed of tomato and basil sauce.
