It works OK in cricket, where the umpire askes the third umpire to look at all the camera images - and hey presto, its yes or no.
Cricket is a 'stop,start' game so it is easier to use technology.
Not that I don't want it introducing, though.

After every single incident in cricket, there's a natural break where nothing can happen. If football went the same way, there'd be a vastly increased number of disallowed goals, caused mostly by offsides not being given "live" as they are now, but by waiting and seeing what the video said.
