TV puppet shows are not a passing craze, because GSN, the US equivalent of Challenge TV, has acquired a show called Late Night Liars. It will feature takeoff puppets of famous celebrities like Joan Rivers and Simon Cowell. In it, two contestants try to predict which of two puppets is giving a true statement. The show will be produced by Jim Henson's production company.

So, who is the host of this show? Well, it's none other than Jerry Seinfeld's hilarious sidekick and Mr. Pitt's doorman himself, Larry Miller!

Muppets are always popular round here! Although Sesame Street hasn't been on mainstream British telly for years. I think it may be on S4C in Welsh or something.

Nothing wrong with puppets per se, although it requires tremendous skill and choreography to make puppet shows entertaining for adults.

It can be done though - Avenue Q is legendary.
