I've always found that if I get jeans or whatever in my actual waist size, though, they're too tight in the legs (I know that's been variously fashionable over the years, but I just find it uncomfortable). So I've always got a size above and worn a belt.Gavin Chipper wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 7:46 amMe neither. They're just for people who go on a diet after buying their trousers.
If your weight fluctuates like mine then a belt is essentialJimBentley wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 2:49 pmI've always found that if I get jeans or whatever in my actual waist size, though, they're too tight in the legs (I know that's been variously fashionable over the years, but I just find it uncomfortable). I've almost never lost weight, although my weight is very stable, and even if I wear jeans that are too small for me, I still need a belt as they just end up constantly sagging in the arse area otherwise. Maybe this is a legacy of the trend for extremely saggy arses in jeans last decade.Marc Meakin wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 7:14 pmIf your weight fluctuates like mine then a belt is essentialJimBentley wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 2:49 pmI've always found that if I get jeans or whatever in my actual waist size, though, they're too tight in the legs (I know that's been variously fashionable over the years, but I just find it uncomfortable).
